In 2008, the Town of Prescott Valley, in partnership with Yavapai College, broke ground on a new 51,500 square foot building adjacent to the Civic Center. This new asset to the community includes the new Prescott Valley Public Library, classrooms for Northern Arizona University, and an auditorium for Prescott Valley Town Council Meetings and other events.
The Prescott Valley Public Library Foundation, Inc. was founded in 2003 by the Prescott Valley Public Library Board of Trustees.
The Foundation continues to actively collaborate with Northcentral University, Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Northern Arizona University and the Humboldt Unified School District to provide the very best resources available for students of all ages now and in the future.
