In 2008, the Town of Prescott Valley, in partnership with Yavapai College, broke ground on a new 51,500 square foot building adjacent to the Civic Center. This new asset to the community includes the new Prescott Valley Public Library, classrooms for Northern Arizona University, and an auditorium for Prescott Valley Town Council Meetings and other events.
The Prescott Valley Public Library Foundation, Inc. was founded in 2003 by the Prescott Valley Public Library Board of Trustees.
The Foundation continues to actively collaborate with Northcentral University, Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Northern Arizona University and the Humboldt Unified School District to provide the very best resources available for students of all ages now and in the future.

Why should Prescott Valley residents and businesses support the Prescott Valley Public Library? The Prescott Valley Public Library is available for all citizens of the Town of Prescott Valley to:
- provide access to the world’s wealth of knowledge,
- offer a head start to learning and opportunity,
- solve problems,
- provide an outlet to share thoughts, dreams, discoveries, and investigations with others,
- keep the hunger for discovery alive, and
- stir imaginations and creativity.
Access to knowledge is the road to innovation and new ideas. With the new facility and partnership with Yavapai College, the Town of Prescott Valley will be able to offer even more educational opportunities to its citizens.
